In the build tools, with a block selected, there is no preview icon displaying how the block will look when placed. Attached is a Screenshot.
I also had some weirdness when holding down the - key and trying to use the Copy tool. When holding down the - tool, the view zoomed and traveled down and to the right. Bazaar.
Not sure what to put here, it is a consistent problem.

As you're using an Intel GPU, that could explain these results. You should contact support here.
