Starmade | Can reset cool down of long cool down weapon systems

Description

After firing a weapon, removing the master computer and then undoing will reset its cooldown. This could be used in combat with the undo/redo buttons.

A possible fix would be to lock a computer down when it is reloading, so that you could not delete it by hand or through the undo/redo buttons or just edit it in general.

A part of the community knows about this exploit since it has been shared in public chat before...

How to reproduce:

  1. place down a computer, link it with some modules
  2. link that computer to a damage pulse system so your cooldown is longer
  3. fire that weapon, delete the master computer and press the "undo" button
  4. you'll notice that your X second reload has been reset completely.

i would suggest make it start a cooldown each time it is placed or blocks linked to it.
and just to make sure ... place all weapons on cool down when exiting buildmode

The fix is causing a severe issue:

  • losing a linked module of a computer that is currently reloading will cause a large freeze, the reloading module will turn completely green and after the freeze it will be completely reloaded.

How to reproduce:

  1. make a ship that auto fires a 20 block cannon or something similar in size
  2. make another ship that has a weapon with long reload (damage pulse or missiles)
  3. fire the weapon and then fly in front of the auto firing 20 block cannon so that your reloading weapon modules gets damaged
  4. experience a freeze
