Description

Here's a brief history of my interactions with a number of game versions:

I. Build 20160524_194326 v0.198.132 (DEV) - loads up to 49-50%, shows fancy game menu. I'm ready to play.

II. Build 20160524_222356 v0.198.133 (DEV) - loads up to 49-50%, shows fancy game menu. Time to connect to some servers.

III. Build 20160525_150652 v0.198.133 (DEV) - loads up to 49-50%, stops responding.

IV. Build 20160525_182915 v0.198.133 (DEV) - loads up to 49-50%, stops responding.

...

N. Build 20160605_045750 v0.198.146 (RELEASE) - you know, i've tried to wait for game to wake up. 30 minutes, i guess, is not enough.

I'm almost certain, it can be somehow connected to something with my computer, but i don't know, what. And i've tried to update Java and drivers.

I can easily reproduce this "bug" by downloading any version build higher than 222356 v0.198.133.

Might be something related to explosion data of missiles. Go to starmade/data and delete sphereExplosionData.dat, try updating again.
You should be able to see that in your logs, where it fails to load.
It's most likely not a bug so I'll reject this task, please make a support ticket instead and refer to this task. We'll re-open it if it turns out that it's a bug and not some corrupted file. Make sure to include a log file for them.
