Be on a station with at least 2 build blocks (have a friend to help you)

Place a block while in a build block

Have your friend remove it (while also in a build block)

Press UNDO in advanced build mode

:( as you get a null pointer

Can you please provide logs? I've seen 2 crashes related with undo/redo/pasting a template but not sure where this one belongs, might be a duplicate since we already have one of that reported.

Managed to do this in Singleplayer when the server is under some load and I spam the UNDO button
