Starmade | objects which emit light that are behind a wall can be seen through the wall when looking from a distance
Closed, RejectedPublic

Description

I have this station with 8x sentry turrets on the side. The thing is, these turrets are not completely filled, and have portions of empty space in them. Portions of this empty internal space have power capacitors in them. In this picture you cannot see anything strange.

However in this picture, when we get further away from the turrets, you can see the power capacitors because there is a space between the turret hull and the exposed internal textures of the capacitor blocks. If I fill the turrets in this does not happen.

Steps to reproduce
  1. place a 10x10 sheet of power cap blocks.
  2. place a 50x50 sheet of hull (any colour) to cover it up. Make sure that you have at least one block of space between the hull and the power cap sheets.
  3. Look at the ship from about 5-10km away. You will be able to vaguely see the power cap blocks even though the hull is covering them. At close up this doesn't happen.

yes i use framebuffers because if i dont it causes similar issues to this but it happens even when close up.

I cant reproduce that

i did place a wall of Power capacitors and power blocks behind a wall with one block space between wall and those blocks. cant see a problem.

could you please add a sample blueprint (just in case that i am too stupid to build it properly ;) )
and your settings.cfg

yea sure i will in a few hours
