Starmade | blocks can't be activated by logic but can be linked

Description

You are able to link many modules with logic so most would expect that they were turned on/enabled if you give them a true signal.

This is not the case, probably is a missing/overlooked feature but then the game should not allow you to link to blocks where logic signals have no influence over.
For example you can link logic to system blocks too (power reactor, thrust,...) yet that doesn't do anything either.

So either give it function or disable linking for those specific blocks. See Tester information for block list.

Steps to reproduce

Effects:

  1. use a defensive effect like ion, put it on a ship with some shields
  2. shoot a cannon at it and note how much damage you did
  3. attempt the same thing when you enable that ion with a logic button
  4. you'll do the same amount of damage so ion doesn't work

Bobby AI:

link an activator with a bobby AI

Same goes for other blocks

All blocks that can be linked by logic, but don't seem to do anything when receiving signals, in most cases just disabling the linking for them is a good fix, in other cases you probably want to give it some function:

  • Effect computers
  • Effect modules
  • All weapon and support tool modules
  • Bobby AI module
  • Rail Mass Enhancer
  • Display module
  • Power reactor module and capacitors
  • Shield capacitors and rechargers
  • Thruster module
  • Cloaker
  • Radar jammer
  • Faction module
  • Scanner computer
  • Scanner Antenna
  • Transporter computer
  • Transporter module
