1. Create Fleet 2. Give a defend sector command to a nearby sector, notice that they are not moving 3. Give fleet the Idle command, they now move to the target sector Also 1. spawn a pirate ship for your fleet to chase while they are on the defend sector command 2. let them chase the target until they leave their current sector 3. use destroy_entity_dock to delete the pirate ship, notice that the fleet ships make no attempt to move back to the defended sector's coordinates 4. give idle command to fleet... they now move back to defended sector's coordinates.
