Starmade | Brought docked parts of the ship from "Virtual sector" to real one
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Given:

  1. Shipyard
  2. Ship design with few docked entities

Action:
Used "Test" order from shipyard computer

Result:
After getting inside of test-ship found out few docked modules are missing, despite them being intact before, in the design. After leaving test sector i've noticed those parts floating in the shipyard, completely with their "SY_TEST" signatures, while also looking like a fully constructed ship, without "holographic" effects.
The only differences from "real" ship - i was unable to move them, delete them, pilot them or anything else.
Also, because of those things being around shipyard anchor i was unable to load designs again - every time game showed me a message about something being in the way.
Eye-witness (friend of mine) says those parts appeared right after i was teleported to test sector.

UPD: it happened again.

Most likely the effect from T894 and or T834 .. and even those 2 maybe the same.

was the ship created in factionend shipyard?
from a blueprint?
build from scratch with the use of the create dock feature?

Ship was originally created in faction shipyard, on different server, without anything docked to it. Then blueprint was transferred to another server, on another shipyard claimed by faction, and got few modules added by "Create Docking" feature.

So, i suppose, this problem with docking really wants to stay unfixed, and shows itself in weird ways.

ok .. i merge it to T894 then ..seems to be the same or closely related to each other
