Starmade | "Shields Down" message displayed when docked entities shields depleted

Description

If your ship has shielded docked entities, the message "Shields Down!" (Recovery 10s) will pop up when these entities are depleted of shields, regardless of ship shield amount

This could be a side effect of Chain-Docking items onto eachother.

Ship used was

To replicate:

  1. Spawn vessel or create one with docked entities, and chain docked entities (Such as one provided).
  1. Load in a few Isanths to fire upon the vessel while its piloted, or, target the entities with another player
  1. Notice the shields down flag will occasionally pop up when theses docked entities are shield depleted, yet, they take no block damage, and the ship Shield % is either full or only partially depleted

sounds like the power outage effect that gets wrongly declared on turrets supplied by their mothership T340

I had no success what so ever in reproducing this bug. Neither with my own designs (using a clock to fire at a docked entity) nor with the provided blueprint and pirate Isanths, both in release as well as the latest dev build there was not a single instance where the shields down warning was wrongly displayed...

Perhaps this is specific to missiles only, I was able to get it a number of times while testing the point defence against Missile-cannon isanths. Perhaps the missile's ability to down multiple docked shields at once can cause this message to appear

Since Nuclearfun was unable to reproduce I shall now take a crack at it

i tried it against missile isanths and cannon isanths. Turrets got destroyed after ship shields got under 50% but there never was any shield down message

Unable to reproduce possible random affect or another cause.

Apart from what you have already stated can you detail anything else such as what version you are running and what config options do you have set, Are you using a dev build and have you used your save file for any particular builds you had issues with?

Any information may provide enough detail for us to be able to put this in queue and we thank you for your time

Was running the Version it was tested on, Not a dev-build,

Server/Single Player World had no previous build-issues I could gather.

I THINK I may have an idea though. In single player you can Tab F8 between entities as you are the admin, Though I wasnt aware of this at the time, perhaps a "clone" of myself was inside one of the turrets when using TabF8 in build mode Ive had it happen a few times

tested it, with Tab+F8 and there one gets the message.
If nobody has anything against it i would reject the bug as if it really is just about TabF8 it is not really a concern (with TabF8 being a little bit buggy in itself)

Nope, TabF8 breaks things again.

Just like the number of times my docked injectors are catapulted out as the tabF8 ghost messes with the docking...

be ware that if you hit 1 (maybe your weapons) and the entity you had TabF8 switched from has the docking module on 1 it will activate it
