Starmade | single player crashes after clicking spawn. however multiplayer is unaffected

Description

i cant really tell what happened w9ith this one, i cant play single player at all ever since the update came out. yet I can play in any multiplayer without any issues at all.

sounds like a corrupted universe to me. something broke on update i do assume.

remove "server-database" from your starmade install folder and try to start a new world.

if that still isnt working then remove the game completly and reinstall it.

i have done both things you describe and yet the issue still persists.

Ok .. than please add a log.txt.0 file of one of these crashes from the logs folder here
(just drag and drop into comment window)

might be support problem though

well i have now completely wiped it out manually deleting it after uninstall, and that seems to have cleared it. it works now. dont know why that happened but it seems likely the world file was indeed corrupted and for some reason ended up archived so it kept reinstalling with it.

most likely being broken on save or unexpected ending of the game somehow
rejecting as it is not a game bug in itself
