Build a test ship with a button and a connection to a remote logic block.
Dock a second entity to you test ship with a remote logic block. Let’s connect it to a light for a demonstration.
In astronaut mode connect the logic remote blocks from you test ship to the 2nd remote logic block on your docked entity.
When you press the button the light will turn on, on your docked entity.
This works great.
Now save you test ship through the save command as a blueprint.
Load up a copy of the blueprint you just saved.
When you press the button on this second test ship the light will not turn on the corresponding docked entity.
