WHen placing or deleting thruster modules there is a delay, and the whole server becomes bogged down. This is the only module I have noticed this on, but I am only working on the engines of a large build currently. WHen not placing or deleting thrusters, the server is fine.

not happening ... not local or on the testserver
i more or less guess its a lag or sync / load issue with the server you are using .
or are you placing bigger amounts with symmetry at a time here ?
It's both with single blocks and large chunks with symmetry. Almost the same lag time, also. THe image of the placed block remaing but it's not registered. Would you like me to make some gifs and plug them in here?
could you take a shot of the "some info" information in the lower left corner when that happens ?
like this
I can try, it's pretty bad lag. I turned off plumes to see if that would affect it. Nothing changed. It's only with the thruster blocks. Let me try to take a snap shot when it happens. I will do it with single blocks so you know it's not a sync issue.
I took the video with my phone, download that file for maximum resolution, and it has all of the info you need.
Tried a few things ... couldnt slow down the placement of thrusters in any event.
placed around 1,5 Million connected thrusters in Singleplayer and havnt seen an effect at all.
you did use a multiplayer server to do that ? Wich one if i may ask?
what are your systems specsifications (and/or the specifications of the server) ?

tried again in 0.199.358 (DEV)
still couldnt see a problem (aside from FPS rate drops past a point of big numbers of placed blocks)
rejecting this for now
