#1 Original Report:
When an Armor Block is placed on a ship, the Armor HP MAX increases, but the current HP does not. Then, if an Armor Block is removed, the current value decreases. This results in a deficit every time a block is placed or removed. You do not get a warning if you place armor HP contributing blocks on a ship that has damaged armor HP
I have a ship live right now that has Armor Hitpoints: 0 / 390,950. I got it to drop all the way from full to 0 simply by bulk placing and removing armor blocks. I currently see no way to restore current Armor HP.You get a warning if your Structure HP is damaged, Rebooting the ship doesn't increase the value.
#2so you should also get one for armor HP (if you place armor HP contributing blocks)
to reproduce
This is more or less an intended function.
You should not be able to increase your armor values by placing blocks while in combat
the side effect of that is that placing and removing armor while your armor is damaged causes the actual armor value to drop to 0 eventually.
you can repair the armor back to full health at a shop
that said .1. place hull blocks on your ship
2. you are not getting a warning when trying to place armor on a armor damaged ship and by building would remove the armor down to 0 in this case. this cant be intended.use entity_set_armor_hp_percent 0.5 to damage its armor HP
there should be3. build on it => you don't get a warning about repairing first at a shop.
that your armor HP is damaged
