Partial fix.
If the window isn't big enough to fit the entire tree, and you use the scrollbars (or mousewheel) to pan around:
# no links will display that fell outside the original window.
# all existing links of the original window go out of bounds still.

If you resize the window, everything within the window displays properly so that's definitely fixed.
