- We are using creative mode for this - Place a block type with additional shapes on your hot bar and select it. - For this example we go for orange hull. - Select additional shapes and choose one from the radial menu. Let’s go for ½ slabs. - Place a couple of them on you ship as an example. - After placing them go to your inventory immediately without selecting anything else in your hotbar. - Choose a different block type. Let’s go for a power block. Place it on you hotbar in the same active slot that has your orange slabs. - Exit inventory and place a block on your ship. You are placing orange slabs even when it shows you have a power block on your active slot. - You will start placing power blocks once you select something else on the hotbar.
