I have been mining today and with every time I jump to a new sector and mine all the asteroids, a new shop appears in the sectors adjacent to me.
There was originally just one shop in this area that I am at, but now there are 4 due to this strange duplication bug.
On further inspection, it appears that this is moreso a map bug and that the shops do not actually exist in-game.
