Starmade | Failing Alignment after exiting docked entity
Closed, FinishedPublic

Description

when exiting a docked entity you will not be placed into alignment of the exited entity alot of the time
i dont think position or speed is a factor here
rather it seems to be where you spawn and maybe colide when exiting the entity

to reproduce

  • 1 spawn in supplied blueprint and accelerate it in one direction
  • 2 exit the core and enter one of the docked entities
  • 3 on exititng it again be prepared to be trown to the back
  • 4 sometimes it works most of the time it doesnt
  • 5 crossing a sector border wasn t part of the test (made sure not to cross one)
